Yes, post #230 received a Regents scholarship.
Regents at UCSD has traditionally been $2000/year. If there are two people who received $5K/year, I wonder if UCSD increased the scholarship and didn’t update their website. https://fas.ucsd.edu/types/scholarships/regents-scholarships-for-entering-freshmen.html
We got 20000 for 4 years. I don’t know how accurate the website information.
My DS got admitted in CS, in Seventh college. Maybe, future class-mates?

Congratulations to those that got accepted and especially those with scholarships. My older son got Regents in 2017 and it was $2000 per year for 4 years. My younger son got the admission notification yesterday but no mention of Regents. Are all scholarships decisions released for in-state?
@htdbl2020: Regents notifications have gone out with the acceptances.
According to the UCSD website: UC San Diego will notify you of any scholarship awards by March 30 so if they are any more scholarships awarded, applicants would by the end of the month.

Does anyone know how difficult it is to switch from one engineering major to another? I know engineering is a capped major but his first choice was Mechanical.
It was theire second choice. How far away is the dorm? I heard that the dorm will be Village, correct?
Dear @lkg4answers
Seventh college was their second choice. The dorm is going to be Village (current transfer student residence) correct? Is that far away from the college?
