Thanks both Gumbymom and Student 235323, my daughter did send withdrawal email to UCSB and cancelled admission on website with UC Davis. She also receive the email form UC reminding her of the situation this morning and said it has to be corrected within a week. This is the area that you dont want to make any mistake just because you don’t know.

Just wondering if the waitlist selection is based on the GPA, SAT or in state/out of State. Or just random.

My son just got into UCSD for Neurobiology. So did three of his friends. All in state and from the Bay Area. It was his dream school. Good Luck everyone. There is still hope, stay positive!
Just got off the waitlist for international business. In state Southern California, 3.8 unweighted 4.5 weighted, 1430 sat. Good luck to anyone not off yet hopefully there’s another wave or two!

this sucks … still no waitlist update and my stats are similar to the ones released today?
My son got off the waitlist today. Applied to Mech Eng but got in as Undeclared-Physical Science. 1500, 4.5W, in-state, 8 AP’s, 790 Sat2 Math, Muir. Will have to re-apply for admittance to Engineering after freshman year. This could be difficult since the re-apply acceptance rate is ~40%.
