Got off the waitlist today for bio in Revelle
GPA UW: 3.86
GPA W: 4.66
SAT: 1440

Looked at my e-mail and found out I got off the waitlist at UCSD. I won’t be attending though because I was accepted off UCLA’s waitlist prior and during this whole waitlist process I ultimately decided that if I were to get off the waitlist from both schools that UCLA would be my better option. And to add another piece of context, UCSD was my dream school during the time I applied.
Got off waitlist for Management Science. In state from Bay Area. Will decline UCSD since going to CalPoly SLO in Business Management (Accounting).
Dammit! I am still on the waitlist. First choice cs second choice data science. Does anyone know of what’s going on and if there are going to be anymore waves? Also is the waitlist removal process random or based on stats?
Any word would be nice!

Congrats! It does appear that the waitlist removal process is random. Because, I know people with really high stats and really low stats getting off! Hopefully a second batch comes along with so many international students not being able to attend in the fall. I hear many of them are not SIRing to UCs

GPA: 4.0 uw, 4.8 w.

I will be declining my waitlist offer as I got into UCLA and Berkeley so hopefully one of you can have it 
I forgot to mention that I did write a LOCI.
I wrote an LOCI, I have a 34 and a 4.8 W (Idk UC GPA). I still have no response. Applied as a undeclared physical sciences major.
I also wrote a LOCI but I’m not sure if I sent it to the correct email. I just sent it to the General UCSD admissions email. UCSD is my top choice. What email should I resent my LOCI to?
@PizzaLover909: UCSD does not consider an applicants level of interest in the admissions process. I am sure many waitlisted applicants sent an LOCI, but it does not mean they will be considered when accepting students off the waitlist and it does not mean if you are accepted, that the reason is the LOCI.
My son got in as Physics major last night (4.3W/1500). If you’re still waiting, remain calm and carry on.
