You can look up the 4 year academic plan for both majors along with the specific UCSD college GE’s using this link. Then he can compare the classes for each major and see how many courses are common to both majors.

@sclaraparent If your son does well in Davis CS, no one looking at his resume will ever question why he didn’t go to UCSD.
Need some advice - My daughter submitted the SIRed to Davis before May 1, and was off the waitlist from UCI and UCSB, so she SIRed UCSB on May 2. Then She was off the waitlist again on UCSD - her dream school. So she SIRed UCSD on May 11. Do they know which school you really want to go? or is the last campus automatically become your final choice. What do we should do?
@Endotron : Did she notify UCD and UCSB that she was withdrawing her enrollment? If so, then UCSD is her current school. If not, she needs to email both schools and formally withdraw her SIR or she could be be rescinded from all the schools.
You’re not suppose to SIR to multiple schools… If you want to SIR to another school other than the one you currently have, you’re expected to withdraw from that school before submitting another SIR to a different school. You’re not allowed to have an enrollment deposit to multiple school as you just take up waitlist positions, and all the colleges are under the impression that you are attending their school.
When she wanted to SIR to UCSB, she was suppose to withdraw from Davis, and when she wanted to SIR to UCSD, she was suppose to withdraw from UCSB, you can’t have multiple SIRS all around. As of right now, she is expected to attend all 3 of those which obviously isn’t possible.
Honestly you’re probably fine since colleges are usually more on the lenient side with this stuff, but technically speaking it is a valid reason for all colleges to rescind her admissions, so I highly recommend you withdraw your SIR ASAP from two of those schools.
So results are expected to come out tomorrow if Im correct?
In my opinion, I feel like it would come Friday or next Monday.

My daughter got off the waitlist today too. She is torn. SIR at UCSB and really likes the campus. But SD is supposed to be better at molecular biology than SB… anyone familiar with that major who can chime in?
