I’ve been waiting since mid October, UMASS Amherst is my top school and I got the email recently about decisions releasing this week and onwards, but I am so nervous. Did anyone get into Biology or Kinesiology (2nd choice) from in state yet? Thanks.

For those that got accepted congrats. Curious when you submitted your application and when the OOS are notified

any OOS journalism acceptances yet?

@Harding … There have been OOS’s on this thread who have been accepted today. They began releasing decisions today for OOS and In-State. I have been accepted as in-state student.

I do not think the application date matters in terms of the time of your decision being released as I believe that has to do with major and stats. But if it helps mine was submitted end of September!! Very excited !

This might get lost in the thread. but for those who have been accepted (yay!! i got in for italian studies) how do we access the financial aid offer if there is one?

Two of my daughter’s friends (instate) got accepted into the sciences today as well. Nothing yet for my daughter. She auditioned and was accepted into the BFA dance program, but waiting for academic acceptance. Weighted gpa 4.25, 1330 SAT, xc captain, community service, and 20 hours of dance per week. The waiting is nerve wracking!

Son got into CS. No Honors college and no mention of merit scholarships. Would any scholarships have been mentioned in acceptance letter or does that come later? Instate.

My son has a theory that they’re going alphabetically. (We’re towards the end of the alphabet.) Any thoughts? If that’s not the case, do you think they’ll let all students at the same high school know at once? We’re in state and probably half of his class has applied but I don’t know of anyone who has heard yet!

@Wds2024 I was thinking the same thing. Several of my daughters close friends (in state and all in the same high school) were accepted today but she hasn’t received anything yet. They are all in the upper half of the alphabet and we’re closer to the end. So maybe?? Best of luck!

Definitely not the case about alphabetical! All of my friends have last names ending in a-d who were accepted! :((( It is possible they are accepting all CS majors and science/health majors tonight.

We haven’t heard. CS major, OOS, last name starts with V.

We are in state and toward the end of the alphabet. DS20 and a couple of his friends from school found out at the same time. Different majors, ranges of last names.
