Hope the result would be out today
Applying as a sophomore, got waitlisted and then rejected last year
College GPA 4.0(Top 50)
UNC is always my dream school, hope that I could get in this year
Actually, I checked last years chat and the checklist disappeared like 1 min before decisions were released
Doesn’t look like it’s going to be today:sleepy: another week I guess
It seems like the 12 is most likely
Unfortunately. And I’ll be on a plane when they come out so I won’t be able to see them until later that day
that sucks! Someone on a Reddit page said they heard it would be released next Tuesday… but I haven’t seen anyone else say that. I wish they would just release them bc they prob already have it decided yk.
I don’t think UNC would release on a tuesday, after 2021(?), all of the major freshmen and transfer decisions were released on a friday.
yea I doubt it too. I got my first year decision last year on a Friday and seems like most transfer decisions have been Fridays
In 2019 and 2020 they released on a Monday and a Tuesday. So now I’ll be refreshing both of those days
haha yea same I check everyday since I submitted lol
For those who have multiple LORs, is it just showing one on your checklist? I have 2 LORs, and it’s only showing one. I’ve also checked Common App, both are submitted on there.
Same. I have 3 LOR and only two show up on my portal. On CommonApp it says all three are submitted. It may just be an issue on Carolina’s end.
Thank you because I was freaking out! I’ll give them a call on Monday.
appreciate that
i broke up with my gf two months ago and things have only been worse since then
realized that was the worst decision of my life
we always planned on going to unc together
so need to get in to show her how committed i am to wanting her in my life
gotta be that guy

you seem like a good applicant. you have shown an upward trend in college from high school.
High school dropout, 1.2 high school GPA followed by 6 years distinguished military service, 60 military college credits, and 4.0 2 semesters at local community college. Waitlisted last year. Fingers crossed this year. Comeback story for the century… wish my luck, guys. 2 LOR’s very strong. Essay about hardship. Let’s rock, guys!
Hey everyone! Everyone here has such high GPAs it’s crazy haha. I will be applying as a junior transfer from Appalachian State. The thing for me is that I have a 3.6 GPA from my first semester here and a 4.0 this Spring semester and I did put that in the additional info section. My essays have been considered amazing by the people who reviewed them but I can tell I am probably already out of the game JUST from my GPA.
Other stuff:
Two on campus jobs and retook 8 community college classes to get a 3.8 there (up from a 3.58 in high school CC)
Started three programs/clubs on campus
Two leadership positions
Executive board for NC non-profit
Two internships (one was marketing and one at Amazon)
SGA
National, multi-state, and state level leadership positions
Certifications in Google Ads, AI, Project and Product Management
Been working ever since I was 16 and gaining managerial experience, partly to help support family (also in my essays)
Oh yea, forgot to mention I volunteer a lot and am in several other clubs (even though it’s not a leadership position).
