I am about 90% sure that my S25 will commit if accepted. It’s been his number one choice since he stepped foot on campus last year and he applied to a major that checks a lot of boxes for him (and is not prevalent at many other schools). He loves the big rah rah sports scene, the access to snowboarding and hiking, the direct flight, and the 300 days of sunshine. My husband and I loved it too. He is not a high stats kid, but his ECs and classes have set him up well for his major of interest and I am hoping that helps. He is not applying to Engineering or Leeds. He is in at a few schools that he could get excited about, but I think he will be pretty devastated if Boulder doesn’t work out.

My bet is on next Wed or Friday after 5pm EST. My guess is only based on previous years.

Have they typically posted on social media prior to decisions?

Do we know if Boulder has, in previous years at any point, posted on social media or sent an email announcing the time and date of decision releases?

I just went back to last year on their IG page and they did post on that day (1/17) once they were out.
And also the first post about hearing on last year’s page was at 3:48 PM (probably Pacific since that’s where I am) which would make sense as being close to the end of the work day. I really think/hope it will be today!

We are in CA. However, S25 is only interested in Cal Poly as far as CA schools go. He wants big sports and undergrad business. UCs don’t make any sense for him. He has great acceptances from UGA, Clemson, U of SC, UTK, and Indiana. All with merit making making some of them in line financially with CA schools. That said, unless he gets $ for Boulder, I don’t see it happening with the other options he has. It’s a great school, though.

Is there a chart with merit like what you need to get presidential or is merit very unlikely with 4.0 unweighted?
It’s minimum 3.6 but it’s not just GPA.
