University of Colorado Boulder Early Action for Fall 2025 Admissions

I’m more bummed than I should be. LOL

Thank you for sharing this data. This is very interesting. Do other schools show this, too? I don’t see a way to look that up…

Most schools don’t share nearly this level of data. The best way to see what’s available is to search for “[School name] admissions data” and see what comes up. You can try running that search with “Tableau” included, as well, to see who uses this data platform. Georgia Tech provides something similar, although more limited, but most schools only share the federally mandated data - number applied, number accepted, number enrolled, and the 25-75 GOA and test score range. I’ve only really dug in on the 8-9 schools we applied to - there could be others that are similarly open. I give CU Boulder a lot of credit for being so helpfully transparent.

Thank you. That is very good to know, and I agree that it’s great that they give that transparency.

When is it going to come out now? Wednesday the 22nd? Friday the 24th?

Based on previous years those are my thoughts…

This is frustrating. They have never released this late

Maybe they want to be extra careful esp with the email sent out by mistake recently…

They ‘promise’ by Feb 1.

It has only been in the last few years that they’ve released in Jan. Before that, it was usually around Thanksgiving.

The school was closed today.

Per College Confidential forum:
Friday 1/22/21 ~ 3:48p pacific

I am guessing it will be tomorrow.

What time of day does it traditionally come out?

If you look at @OR1 post, 3:48 pacific, which is 4:48 mountain time, or just when the office is closing (or closed). The Wednesday last year was a surprise as the Fridays allow the office a weekend to clean up any issues without constant calls.

So hopefully it will be tomorrow!

Why did they send another financial aid email tonight, when I saw the email by heart dropped because I thought it was the admissions decision. They can’t keep getting my hopes up like that

Interesting. I did not get another email tonight…not sure if my son did.

I did not get another email either, but did get the two last week.

My son got the reminder email tonight. I think it went out to the students and not the parents.

Son was accepted in-state and will 90% decline his offer to Leeds. It’s the only school that didn’t offer him and merit money and his other choices are better for his major.

Impossible to say. My CU Sophomore was awarded the max in-state with 4.1 and 33 act while his brother got nothing with a 4.5 and 36 ACT. Also the oldest wasn’t admitted into first choice major and had to declare later whereas younger bro was auto-admit to Leeds. :woman_shrugging:
