I also can no longer access the common data set. I wanted to see how many kids they have taken off the waitlist in previous years. Anyone else able to find that info?

I donā€™t see for CU ? What other options? Has he looked at Utah, the Montana schools and Wyoming ? The last three are smaller butā€¦

Yes, he is in at several schools. I am hoping he can get excited about one of them once the sadness has passed. He is in at Utah, Colorado State, Pitt, JMU, VT, Indiana, DU, Miami (OH) and a couple of smaller schools that he is no longer considering (wants the big rah, rah experience). Boulder checks just about every box for him, but he is going to need to pivot. He will stay on the waitlist, but we obviously need to go to plan B. Going to give him a few days before I start hyping some of his other options.

Edit:Latest data, most people - 1007 out of 1158 who accepted a place on the waitlist - got offered a place.
Previous year looks about half of them, 666 out of 1102.

Those are incredible schools. I am so sorry about Boulder! But he is going to be so successful and have a wonderful time at one of those!

for what itā€™s worth, we know a handful of kids (friends/acquaintances) who have gone to Indiana (OOS from Nor Cal) and are really enjoying. It definitely checks the rah-rah box also :slight_smile:

Anyone know when the waitlist usually comes out?

OOS son admitted pre-business. Really interested in the program but there is not a lot posted about the pre-business year/dorm/cohort/experience online (beyond the CU Boulder website). Anyone know if the freshmen have a good experience and if they would do it again if given the option?
