Yes, they accept test optional. They look at classes taken and grades.
Has anybody heard from admissions this week - wonder if they will drop it today or if they already dropped it on the Monday before TG (like in 2024 as @anxiousmom711 indicated earlier)

âŠIâve read that theyâve sent out acceptances on the Weds before Thanksgiving in previous years. Remember to check the portal and not just rely on email. Weâll see.

Do students not get an email. We have been waiting on getting an email to check the portal

Iâd check. We didnât get one. Most did, but we have definitely heard of others that did not.
We never got an email to check portal. We just checked on Friday at 5pm on 11/7 and saw was accepted. We also got a letter via mail probably by Tuesday after acceptance.

The portal changed so that now it says âView Your Financial Portalâ, but we donât see any merit scholarship. Would it be in the Welcome Letter? I donât think D26 got any merit aid in that case.
Did you click on the âview your financial portal buttonâ and there was nothing there? After we clicked on the view your financial portal button, we see this and when you click on the yellow button the letter pops up. Itâs also possible they just havenât uploaded the letter yet?
That button isnât there (yet). There is a button that once inside the Financial portal that says âView Your Welcome Letterâ. Fingers crossed she gets the one above! Will try again on Monday. Thank you for replying!
Same for us. The button changed to âview your financial portal,â but then no button to see what merit was awarded.

Also keep a lookout for mail. My student never got an email for merit scholarship. It does show up in portal as others mentioned though.

Has anyone else had a button appear that says âview your financial portal,â but then when you click on it, there is no merit listed in the portal?
Yes we have that same situation right now. We just got the acceptance on the Friday before thanksgiving, so I am assuming we need to give it a couple weeks!!

Your financial portal should also have the federal student loans that all students who complete fafsa are eligible for.

My daughterâs portal changed this morning and now has a section under âenrichment opportunitiesâ that states:
HONORS COLLEGE
Your interest in the UD Honors College has been noted and your application is currently under review. All Honors College decisions will be released by mid-March. Visit our website for more information about our Honors College.

I presume she already got admitted to UD but awaiting the Honors admit?
