They are dropping nationally but UGA continues to be in high demand…free tuition in-state is a big incentive
Best of luck to all waiting on decisions today!

Do they show the UGA GPA somewhere on the portal? I can’t see to find it. Thanks
They do not. You have to calculate it yourself.
Congrats to those admitted! We are impatiently waiting for Dec 6
The linked blog ends with, " As well, Housing sign-ups will not be available until the Monday after the December 6 OOS EA decision release."
How does this work at UGA? Do students sign up for housing before they accept the admission offer? I know there are some schools where prospective students need to put down a housing deposit early in the process. We are OOS and are hopeful for UGA, but also need to wait until our in-state school releases results months later.
No.
In years past you just needed to pay a $25 housing deposit that holds your place in line. You do not have to pay the enrollment deposit to pay the housing fee.
Accepted. 13 APs, 4 DE, 4.54 UGA GPA, 1540 SAT
How are these UGA GPA’s a 4.5?? IS that like 12 APs??
What’s was their non UGA GPA UW/ W? And major? Best of luck. Tons I know got in later! (but we are OOS)
Well, based on what they wrote, it appears that they took 13 APs and 4 DE between freshman and junior year but I’m not sure how that would be possible. Perhaps some of those are being taken this year? And I’m not sure how those could all be in core courses that would get the GPA boost.
Regardless, they were accepted and that is fantastic.
accepted to Morehead Honors College.
11 AP and GT math1 until 11th, taking 6 AP this year with GT math 2. total 17 AP’s 2 dual
UWGPA 4.0, WGPA 4.5. unsure UGA GPA
SAT 1520
The AP/DE count is over four years. Obviously GPA calculation is only over the first 3 years. UGA gives the quality point bump to all AP classes, whether core or not. Those APS plus core non-AP courses are included in UGA GPA.
