Well, I know that the James Scholar Program for the College of Media (the college I was admitted into) is awarded to the top 20% of the collegeās incoming freshman class, based on SAT/ACT scores, GPA, essays, activities etc.
My letter made no mention of the Chancellorās Scholar but Iām guessing itās more selective than the James, seeing as it only takes in 125 students each year.

My son unfortunately has to turn down the chancellors scholars program and scholarship as he was offered more money for anotherās schools honor program.
Oh, congratulations on that as well! Can I ask when you got your scholarship notification for UIUC? I need to know whatās on the table for me in order to compare UIUC with other colleges but I havenāt seen a scholarship decision yet.
It was a day ago. Fairly recent.

Yes, D24 received an email on March 16 entitled āScholarship Notification & Details from Grainger School of Engineeringā. It stated that she had been selected for the Illinois Engineering Enhanced Scholarship and the Physics Visionary Scholarship and provided the award amounts. She applied RD and is in state.
Most OOS students will not receive any scholarship money.

Does anyone know if there is a GPA requirement if I want to switch colleges.
Waitlisted for Business. OOS but have a sibling currently attending in Engineering. Plan on appealing but I want to hear if anyone haas successfully appealed from a waitlist offer.
