Yeah I wish they would break it down by actual majors- because that’s ultimately what the decision is based on.
Historically they have admitted 1500 to 2000 deferred students according to this FAQ.

I noticed on the application that they didn’t allow students to select psychology as a second choice major (same with computer science, engineering and business) which was surprising to me. So I would guess it must be highly selective. Did she pick a second choice major or division of general studies on her application?
Thanks for the insight! No- she’d rather go somewhere else than choose a different major.
That makes sense. I think that she likely would have gotten in to the Division of General Studies which they only offer to in-state kids but I don’t know if she could have transferred into psychology if it’s an impacted major there.
