Hmm sounds like the form disappearing and reappearing may be a sign of acceptance after all, as this was what happened with Purdue with the bar appearing later for accepted. Ours was always there, so let’s see in a few more hours

Interesting! In Purdue too status bar for some never disappeared though the others got it back in batches. No idea what that means but seems similar pattern(By the way I was only stating what we are seeing on my above comment)

Portal astrology, the college acceptance relief valve

I promised my daughter that today I will not apply any portal astrology on her app to understand her admission status as she wants all of us to check it together after they are released. With Portal Astrology I came to know 2 hrs before the decisions for our instate, though I got excited for that minute later I felt I should have waited. She is coming home 2 hrs after the release time. She says “decision can wait, have things to do, can’t come home early from school”. Man, how can they be so calm? Sometimes I wonder who’s the parent in the house?

In the past, some decisions have started to release a little after 3:30 CST. I can’t say that’ll happen this year but it was our experience in 2021 and for friends in subsequent years. I’m not sure if they release in state first or acceptances first, but don’t panic if yours doesn’t come until the promised time of 4pm

I think the “parent” part may explain some of it.

Agreed, at this point I’m just trying to keep busy and wait for my daughter to get home before she starts incessantly refreshing the portal

Is it still gone for anyone? If so, and if you have high stats, then we have the decisions right in front of us, I guess?

We’re in PST, and my daughter is back from school at least 2-3 hours after decision release — has been this story for all decisions so far.
Portal Astro has helped me keep my word of not clicking “the button.”
BTW, this is the last one for us before our final in-state decision in mid-March.

Here too for DD. I would say borderline though so I’m not sure about astrology. 30 ACT 4.3 W, 3.99 UW, lots of ECs focused on business (applied to gies)…
