University of Illinois Urbana Champaign Early Action for Fall 2025 Admissions

S25 got in (saw the popup) but can’t see anything because the actual page doesn’t load. Is anyone else having the same issue?

anyone get in for cs+advertising?

Daughter OOS (KY) accepted into Grainger with second choice major - Materials; first was Bioengineering; 4.0UW, 4.8W; 34 - does anyone know if they treat acceptances into second choice majors as being on a waitlist for first choice?

nothing much.

I was just saying that before son checked his status I already knew the outcome and a little disappointed.

Sorry, it doesn’t work that way. It’s a denial for first choice major.

Anyone know the acceptance rate from deferral? Heard from one source that it’s around 50%. UIUC website says around 1500-2000 get accepted from the waitlist.

I got in to CS+X. 1490 SAT, 4.35 GPA, really good essays and great extracurriculars. International Award and national award. Got deferred from Madison, Purdue, Michigan, etc. so relieved for this.
