If I remember correctly, the scholars zoom said by Feb 28th, so I assume by or at the end of this month.

If they do that, they risk not getting the same merit, or even not getting admitted at all/admitted to the Engineering LEP. STRONGLY would not advise. Can do Honors this way later on in enginering: Engineering Honors Program | A. James Clark School of Engineering, University of Maryland

Yes, same experience here. We are OOS and a good admitted student tour would certainly help with our daughterâs decision-making, but it appears thereâs nothing available and the website itself is atrocious. I called and spoke with someone in admissions, and the best they could suggest was to do a self-guided tour and a walk-in at the admissions office to speak with someone there (not for a tour, just for a meeting). Fortunately, we have friends in the area who have children there who have offered to help with a visit.

Yes, it is disappointing. Some slots opened up yesterday afternoon for some of the Next Stop Tours. Not sure if they are still available but go check it out!

the website says this:
Students who submitted their preferences by the mid-February deadline can expect to be notified by the second week of March. Students who submit their preferences after the mid-February deadline will be notified before the end of April.

Yes. I had just heard in past years that students are notified around the last day of February. So I was wondering if anyone heard whether that would still be the case.

Two years ago my older student got their notice just before 7 pm so I havenât given up hope yet for tonight

My 2021 daughter received her Scholar invite on 3/5 at 6:20 pm which was a Friday. Maybe next Friday? As a note, the Scholar invite was sent via email.
From the portal, look like they released Honor College decisions already?

Admittance to honors college came with acceptance. We have seen placement in a specific honors program come out yet.

Scholars programs are posted in portal now too. Note for parents looking in future years. This year we havenât received a letter (at least yet). Portal appears was updated overnight.

Does anyone know if additional Open House dates or spaces will be made available to meet capacity? Itâs hard to believe that so few spots were available on the two dates that no one admitted RD had a chance of registering for them.
Keep checking the website. They have been opening up dates. I think folks must cancel and they release those spots in waves.
