Good luck!

Does it mean I’m most likely waitlisted?

What are your stats?

Anyone have a high school that uses school links as their interface with common app? It’s new to our district this year and the counselors can’t figure out how to send mid year grades to schools that requested them. (It will automatically send them to common app schools that always request them, but the deferred kids for Michigan are showing as an exception and they can’t figure it out. ):flushed:

How do you opt for RC? I would be interested if not admitted to LSA Honors

Hard to definitively say, but I’d venture to guess they are managing their yield and want to make sure you’re truly interested before extending an offer.

My guess is you are on the edge and they are giving you a chance to tip the scales with more information

In the portal there’s a tab for “resources” at the bottom. Click that. Then there’s an option for “Get Connected”. Click that. There will be an option for “Residential College”. Click that. The landing page you end up at will have a button in the middle of the page to apply to RC. There is an easier way, I’m sure.

Thank you! I’m putting the link here in case it helps anyone else: Join the RC

No… But call admission. If you just applied it would be strange to do a Loci so soon. They have chat, email, phone. Let us know.

I would call admissions and ask. They might make an exception and have you send in a different way

If anyone else is having trouble submitting mid-year grades through common app, the AO told my D to have counselor email them to transcripts@umich.edu and list their name and Michigan application ID number.

Dinner recommendations please for one night in Ann Arbor. Could be to get a real feel for U Mich in some way, could be unrelated but otherwise great. Any price point.

Go!

There’s a ton of them, but here’s 3:

Mani Osteria. We had pizza and salad. All loved it. Hope we get to go back. Deferred.

My daughter likes Frita Batitos, if you want to go somewhere that will have lots of students.

A nice upscale restaurant is the Gandy Dancer. It’s right in AA, but not on campus, so it won’t give you a student-vibe.

AA also has great brunch. I like Speckled Hen and The Jagged Fork a lot. You will see lots of kids any day of the week.

So the last 4 are iconic and have been there at least 40 years or more. Pro hint : you don’t get pizza at Pizza Bob’s (I guess you can). They are known for their Chapati (salad in home made bread like pita but so much better) and their shakes. Hot fudge chocolate chip is my favorite but you can make like hundreds of different combinations. There is just about any type of food you can imagine in Ann Arbor.
