Just got in today around 2:30! I applied for Dietrich and had my application complete around 10/10 (submitted it way earlier but didn’t pay app fee until then). 1410 SAT, 3.8 UW GPA, only did one of the essays.
My daughter’s buttons appeared today for the School of Nursing. Could this be for an alternate campus? It says Nursing, but no campus is listed. She listed Pittsburgh as her first choice.
@Searching2020 I have a 3.9/4.38 GPA and 35 ACT. It’s good to know that honors and merit are separate. I recently talked with an admissions rep who also found it odd that I received a notification so early, but I’ve reread the letter and it has a seal. I was also accepted to the School of Computing.
Admission to Pitt came first and then Guarantee Admission came snail mail a week later

Congratulations @dc8869 ! I submitted 10/08 and emailed my citizenship docs on 10/11, so hopefully, my decision comes in sometime this week!
MY BUTTONS JUST SHOWED! I am so happy I’m shaking and crying. It took 22 days and it was such an excruciating wait but it was worth it. This shows even if you don’t have perfect stats you can still get in. ACT 29 and Weighted Gpa 4.05. I wrote only one of the responses. I applied to Dietrich my major is undecided. Good luck to everyone I hope you all get in to Pitt or in a school you really love. I only applied to Pitt because it was my #1 choice. I was going to start applying to Penn State today as a backup choice but I guess not! Best of luck and don’t lose hope even if it takes a while for your buttons to show.

@ashleyeliz Congratulations, that’s great news! Great to see those who don’t have stellar stats, but really love Pitt, get in! Admissions must be taking the time to look at the SAQ’s, which is good. There is so much more to most students than their grades and test scores.

applied 9/29 using the college app, did the srar about a week later since my school was taking so long to send transcripts, buttons changed today!
Son was accepted few weeks ago to Dietrich. This past week received an invitation to apply for the BS/MD with UPitt medical school. (This is his objective and he indicated his interest for this program) on his Pitt app Was interested to hear if others had received an invitation to date?
Waiting impatiently for any response from PITT, no email to log in and when I called they said they are still waiting on transcripts. Love seeing all of the very similar SAT scores getting accepted. My daughter has a 1250 SAT, top 10% of her class, GPA 4.13 weighted/ 3.93 unweighted.

we did not get the invite. may I ask when he was accepted to Dietrich? Also does the invite come by email or snail mail? I saw on another forum, another person had got the invite. Good luck to your son - its a great program.
