Also when does the email come? I got buttons but not an email yet.
@ashleyeliz - D got her buttons on a Friday 10/18 at 1pm and email came on Monday 10/21 at 3pm. Still waiting for snail mail.

Just an FYI post, but just received a letter in mail asking me to submit senior mid-term grades for a reconsideration. Weighted 4.06 & ACT 32, but significant extracurriculars. Applied to Comp Sci.
Also, does anyone know if it is possible to get into the Guaranteed Admission Program without meeting the SAT requirement for it? (yikes)

Hello! I found out I was accepted tonight via the accept/decline button, so I have yet to receive formal word about it.
When I look it says I was accepted to the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences but my major is labelled as “undeclared“. I applied under the impression I’m majoring in statistics (I checked my application to make sure it was included and it was).
I tried to look up why it appears as undeclared but could not find much about it.
Does anyone have any clue on why this is?
I’ve never heard anything suggesting that the program is competitive. My stats (no pun intended) are fairly decent, 1380 SAT (700 math, 680 r/w), 4.38 GPA W, so I doubt I would get declined.
Is it a simple case of an error occurring or do I possibly need to complete a course load before I can officially declare statistics as my major? Or did I just not make it?

@AnnaXEliza The same thing happened to me, but in SCI. I believe you officially declare your major while on campus, so everyone is considered “undeclared” for the time being
I think everyone sees “undeclared”. Your official letter should state the term you were admitted to as a “prospective statistics major”
My buttons appeared today!! Completed app on 10/11 for the school of nursing. 4.0 UW/4.3W, 33 ACT. I also applied for honors through the same app. Hoping for some $$ since I am OOS.
Did you find out? I just went and saw that I have an accept decline button too. What does this mean?!
@ask2020, when we went to blue and gold day last fall, rep indicated that they were pretty firm on scores. If you don’t meet the minimum, I got the sense that it would be pointless to apply, but I could be working off all info. I think they get more than enough applicants who meet the minimum.
How do you know if you got into the GAP? Does it say in the portal or does it come by snail mail?

I applied less than 2 weeks ago to the School of Nursing and I just got my acceptance email! I’m really excited because this was my first choice for nursing.
