@MPT3D yes she did apply to honors. She is also a NMSF (soon to be finalist), but I don’t think they give merit for that
Hi all…spoke to financial aid this morning because they needed my son’s ss number and they are behind. So financial aid packages will not be out until sometime next week or the following week. Patience. lol

Good to know. My daughter was accepted early Nov. and we still have not heard anything about any merit scholarships or financial aid. This is very frustrating. We heard from UMASS-Boston with great offer, but she wants to attend PITT. Hope they come through!
For those of you that received the t-shirt or other swag in snail mail, had you already accepted the offer? Had you been offered merit? Just curious. Still waiting for a sign regarding merit or financial aid here after DS being accepted to Dietrich. The wait is excruciating as Pitt is #1 choice but only possible with aid.

The letter I got with the t-shirt said it was for attending a virtual info session way back in October. I have received merit aid as well, but I haven’t committed to Pitt.
@WBct2003 My D was accepted to Dietrich as well, first Wed in Dec. she got the swag and the email. We have not accepted yet, and have not received any info on merit. I feel your pain!!

is honors decision really coming out on feb 1? if I’ve got some grants (only 2k b/c i’m international), does it mean i’ll get in honors? any ideas?

Yes I hear you…I’ve been having my son check everyday all week. Now he gets a break until Monday
From what I have read, honors does not increase merit sadly We’re waiting to hear if my son got into honors

I am assuming you are instate. My son also received a full tuition scholarship thats how I recognized those numbers. His is called the Cathedral of Learning Prestige Scholarship which is a diversity scholarship. Again Congratulations!
