Weird - still no email for my daughter but the honors invite letter is in her document portal
i have the same thing, but for some reason the ‘award letter’ doesnt want to open when i click onit! just gives me an error message so im not sure if i 100% got accepted…

@drewcollege4 same here! My daughter has still not received an email, but definitely has her honor acceptance in her portal. Very strange, given that many others seem to have gotten one.

Does no email and nothing new in the portal mean that I didn’t get in?
Same here. It’s a personalized letter with her name, but no email. Hope it’s real!
For Senior grades , SRAR do you enter MP1 and MP2 separately or we enter as single grade for 1 semester ?
Can you check your document portal - it’s separate from the regular portal. The only way I can figure out to get into it is to go back to the email that included merit and logon on that way. My daughter did not get an email about honors and it doesn’t show in her regular portal, but the personalized letter addressed to her is in the document portal. Hope that makes sense.
I hope it’s real too! We printed it out just in case.

It seems that merit scholarships are a separate consideration from Honors (though they often correlate.) Our DS found out about merit scholarships several weeks ago. At some colleges, Honors College invitations come with merit aid, however, based on the HC description on their website, that is not the case at PITT.
Thanks! Even we received merit scholarship more than a month ago after the initial undergrad acceptance. I am curious to know if that changes after the Honors acceptance.

I think it’s common. No different than engineering majors pay more.
We pay at bama each semester. My son has yet to take a class. Most kids are in just for priority reg and drop out as seniors.
These are businesses. If there’s a value there’s an extra fee.
