Application for nursing submitted 8/1. Under review 8/12. Top 2% of her class. Still nothing. Monday is 8 weeks. Anyone else waiting this long? I’d love it if they strayed from the norm and waited for acceptance so they could also send merit at the same time. At least that would help with the stress she has had!

Still waiting..applied early August and in review 8/16…stats are on par or better than those who have received acceptances (based on what is posted here). Not sure what to think at this point…

Nothing. I start putting $5 in a jar everyday - could have enough for a massage from the wait and best way to relax after this stress!

I hope you will hear the decision in the coming week. My D25 applied on 8/26 and under review on 9/5. She hears nothing yet too. But she applied for SCI.

Has anyone seen admitted students day registration? I have looked at my applicant portal. Also I never received an email about my acceptance but I checked my portal and I had my acceptance there, as well as the people soft server (9/26)
I also got an email to be on the lookout for an admitted students day registration, that’s why I am curious 
Is it normal not to hear back after 4.5 weeks from the “under review” status? Very worrying.
It was 7 weeks for my son before he received his acceptance. I wouldn’t worry!

My daughter was officially “under review” 8 weeks ago today (she applied on August 1st). Pitt said she should hear “in a few weeks”…so I am sure all is ok!

Yes, while some people may get a decision that fast, it is very normal for it to take longer.
Again I know this is easier said than done when you see other people getting admitted and you are still waiting, but unless and until you actually get an adverse decision, no news is simply no news. So you should just not worry if some people get an answer sooner than you do.

D25 app was submitted 9/10 and under review 9/11. It had been marked awaiting decision. She applied test optional so she submitted the common app essay, and it was her understanding that this would be her personal statement. She checked her portal today which changed to say that her personal statement was missing. She just uploaded it to admissions but why was it considered missing? Was it supposed to be uploaded somewhere other than as the common app essay?
Nvm. I see now that the common app essay actually wasn’t sent to Pitt (even though D25 included it) because Pitt doesn’t require it. So it had to be sent separately. Oh well. Back to the line I guess

Does anyone know if there is an instagram/FB/any social media site, that is set up for accepted students to chat?
There’s pitt2029bios on IG, but it doesn’t look like anyone has posted since June. My D25 hasnt posted on any of the schools shes got into yet because we’re waiting on scholarship letters to roll in before she joins a group to find a roomie. Im sure theres a group on FB but she doesn’t have that lol
S25 was just admitted to Swanson for ME! Application went under review on 9/20 and he got the email about a status change at 7:15 ET.

I know that in previous years, Pitt has sent out acceptance letters/posters in the mail. Has anyone who has been accepted received one yet?
