I submitted on Oct. 28th and all of my materials were submitted on Nov 1st and I havenât heard back yet. Should I be worries?

What program? OOS or in state? My DS submitted on 9/13. OOS for business. Still nothing so he messaged his AO last week. They said he should hear this week or next.
I applied OOS and for public health. I didnât apply for any guaranteed admission or other pre programs.

That is less than five weeks, so I would not see that as even being on the late side yet. And as discussed above, really unless and until you get bad news, no news is simply no news.

So as I understand it, the different schools have admissions committees meeting on a regular schedule, and they can only do so many applications in a session. If you are lucky, once it is submitted your application gets considered in a relatively sooner session. If you are less lucky, it doesnât get considered until a relatively later session.
They try not to let any given application go too long (unless they do something like reset the clock by asking for a midyear report). But up to eight weeks is still considered in the normal range, and sometimes it takes a few more weeks than that for no reason that is ever made clear.
Like, DocZ just announced a decision that took almost 12 weeks. Will there ever be an explanation? Probably not, is my guess. And it was probably just something that is functionally random.

Thank you so much, I guess I just need to be more patient. I was just getting scared that they were taking so long because I got rejected but I see that it took a while for a lot of people and they got in.
And for good or ill, if you got rejected they would let you know!
Have college rejections gone out yet?
Received an email on 10/9 that my application is under review and no updates since then. Today is the 8 week mark. Should I be concerned? Should I contact admissions?
We contacted admissions last week, as my sonâs app was sitting at over 10 weeks. We just wanted to be sure he wasnât missing anything. Basically they replied to him and said âYou are all set and we are working on it.â I donât think it hurts to double check but know that it can take longer than 8 weeks.

OOS son got accepted into nursing GAP. Took about 5 weeks for decision.

Congratulations, curious what is GAP?
Weâre headed up to Pitt for a day trip on Wednesday for a tour. Flying from NC, and hoping for some info on the airport and rideshares to/from in the snow. Are we going to have any transportation issues? Being from NC where things stop for a single flake so just needing some calming that weâll still be able to get around if it snows during the day while weâre thereâ:blush:
