I believe the admissions page says mid-March. No mention of rolling.

Anyone know if the school of business is more competitive to get into than Arts and Sciences? Are you expected to have AP Calc or anything like that? Thanks.

Wow! What state are you from? Do you mind sharing her stats/ activities? Does it seem to matter what program you apply to ?
Massachusetts, public high school of about 900 kids, she top 20% of her class but we don’t rank so not a published number, 7 Ap
Classes, including calculus and physics. President of NHS, senior class officer, lacrosse, mock trial, starting role in theater show for two years now. 4.1 GPA and 1300 SAT, applied as an engineering major. She has been accepted with merit at UK and UTK, pathway offer to Texas A&M engineering, rejected by UVA, UT, waitlisted by Clemson and now U of SC. Deferred by UGA and still waiting. We did not expect today’s decision

Just curious about timing of any Parents Congratulations emails tonight?? I have two who applied. D24 opened an hour ago and was accepted, S24 is at a sports game and hasn’t opened. We got one email congratulating D24. REALLY hoping the system is super smart so was only triggered to email after she opened & they haven’t sent us an email about son because he hasn’t opened…Thanks for any insights.
Mass. 4.12w GPA, TO, Psych major, 3AP, 3 sport V athlete, tons of Comm Service, Great essay. Deferred EA to Waitlist RD.
After my daughter checked her status in the portal and got accepted, I got a email of congrats immediately. So I am positive that the email generated because she opened the portal update. Good luck to your son.

sorry to hear that… I just don’t understand any of how these schools choose. My daughter is almost identical with her stats as those and she got accepted.
OOS, 4.188 W (4.0 uw), TO, 1 AP, 3 varsity, community service. The only difference was the major, my daughter engineering/computer science and not psych. My daughter applied RD.

Could you share her stats and program?
My D24 was accepted EA and just declined her spot as a psych major as she has narrowed her list to two other schools. Hopefully your daughter can get that psychology spot.

3 APs and a bunch of DEs
works 2 jobs senior year
Gymnast thru junior year (though not doing in college)
Not a lot of EC or volunteer work (due to gymnastics)

Congratualtions! Are you out of state? Did she receive any merit- do you mind me asking what DE’s are?
who knows… our child had AP Calc, AP Stats, AP Econ, AP Comp Sci… etc… Varsity sports, ECs, jobs, volunteer hours…etc… 4.1 GPA, 1390 SAT… deferred EA to waitlisted, yet in at 9 competitive schools (as low as 25% acceptance rate) with fantastic Business programs (Kelley, Smeal, Daniels, Haslam, Pamplin, Wilbur O. & A. Powers etc…)… my assumption is yield protection because for USC, this doesn’t make sense. We thought it was a safety-target and potential merit. LOL!!!
