Mid March
For EA, initial merit was in the acceptance letter with more to perhaps come in March. For example, (oos) mine was promised in state tuition (which equates to $90k over 4 years) with more to probably come in March.

Merit, your student will be lucky to get in as OOS. Advice, apply with test scores, pick a low demand major, and cross your fingers as its been a crap shoot. Otherwise expect a deferral from EA. Good luck!
Were all RD results released today? Or only those EA deferred?

Surprised to see the University of South Carolina Class of 2028 Official Thread thread so quiet. Is there another one that people are using?

That is not true. My daughter is a sophomore at SC, and they accepted all of her AP credits. I think the confusion comes in because AP credits cannot be used to replace the required honors courses. So, my daughter took AP Calc. She therefore did not have to take the required Calc class for her business major. However, she did have to take a math class to fulfill her honors requirements. Her AP Calc could not mean 1 fewer honors classes. She took something else she needed for Business instead (I think Honors stats). The honors advisors are great at helping them navigate the process and dual count as many things as they can. Hope this helps!
Anyone see/get their Financial Aid yet? Is there a place in the portal that will show billable vs non-billable items like other colleges are posting now? Not seeing this for USC just yet, or am I looking in the wrong place?
I think it is coming by this Friday from a few things I have read.
At the financial aid discussion they had today they stated they would be sending out financial aid packages this Friday.
I first received a 5k scholarship and then recently I received another 5k scholarship, however in my COA offer it only takes into account the first 5k, what should I do?
It may have taken a few days to update if you just got the new one. Is it 5k each semester (total of 10k) or 5k total for both semesters?
10k a year so I assume 5k a semester, but it says 5k per year and 2.5k per semester
you might check with them to see when they will update it. Contact Us - Financial Aid and Scholarships | University of South Carolina
