When I check the admissions portal, my daughter has the Welcome class of 2029 video. Underneath that video it has Celebrate, Events, Important Dates.
She now has the VIP ID number and also a USC ID number in her application details. The network username is blank.
At the bottom, she had important dates with links.
Is this generic? Anyone know?

Iāve got a couple of friends that applied for aid and did not receive the email, so Iām not sure thatās the case.

I goggled admitted students day university of South Carolina. I clicked the link in the AI overview and it directed me to the admitted students registration and there is hyperlink that directs you to the admitted students portal. I logged in with my daughterās login and clicked the home button. Thatās where those buttons and videos were located.
The application details included her VIP ID and USC Id.

Can someone who got the email try this? I wanna see if when you try to press certain buttons if it says access denied. For example, once on home page press ācelebrateā and click get gear. what does it say?
yeah, this means nothing by the way. If you have a South Carolina login you can go onto this āadmitted studentsā page. It says access denied for me as well. Got the email. This does not mean your admitted if you can get on this pageā¦

When I press celebrate it gives me links to buy Carolina merch, decorations, yard signs etc.

and then when you scroll down too pay the deposit on the may 1st deadline, what does it say. I would assume it says access denied.
