My daughter is 75% committed to Ole Miss but waiting on this decision. We are in state and only 1 hour and 45 minutes away versus 6 hours and 45 minutes to Ole Miss!

When you click on one of the dates to register for admitted students day, a box pops up that says no access.

Same for me as well.
Thank you for this call out. My student didnât receive the email in the account we have set up for all their college stuff - then realized they used a different email for FAFSA. Found it after checking that different email.
Nothing is going to give us the answer of a decision until we get that update on the portal. We just gotta hold on a little bit longer.

No access seems better than what I saw when I clicked on the register for admitted students day button:
Admitted Student Day is for admitted students only. If you believe you are seeing this message in error, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by callingâŠ

Ha! Thx for the reassurance. I would have preferred a simple âaccess deniedâ for us all.
It worked for me just like you said through the admitted students day. When I got in, it brings me back to the portal and says decided along with a VIP and USC ID number. Can access the celebration tab as well. I do not want to get too excited but I do think this means something good

My DD says the same thing. I just stumbled upon that link while reviewing information etc. and noticed the portals were different.
It seems to be the same for everyone!

Until somebody says they canât get in or their view looks different my thought is this admitted portal means nothing.
Here is how I did itâŠ
Googled admitted students day university of South Carolina.
In google click on schedule your USC visit
Scroll to very bottom and click on the admitted students days link
The dates will pop up with the 2 dates but donât click on the dates. Click top middle where it says menu and then choose the home button. Then log in with your portal credentials
I was actually already logged into the portal on a different browser so I didnât have to actually log in bc I was already logged in. I hope that makes sense
Hopefully this is real and like the other person said just a holding place. Iâm not going to tell my kid about this just in case
