Starting a new thread for Class of 2029 students applying Fall 2025 to University of Tampa. Feel free to ask questions, share GPAs, In-state or OOS.
Any idea when they will release decisions for EA?
End of February. Some people last year said they were getting decisions end of January. Good luck
What about Early Decision?
If your child submitted their application & documentation for ED (binding) by Nov 1st, they should hear from UT by the end of December.
Does anyone know what maximum merit amounts are offered at Tampa? Do they have a set list of GPA/ scores for merit amounts?
It’s listed in the website
Thank you I only saw 10-18000- but didn’t see a gpa cut off.
Unfortunately, No not all universities post that. I will admit, it’s nice when they do to give you a ballpark idea.
Seems like a very minimal thread going here- anyone have thoughts on past merit for test optional students with high GPA?
No but I’m interested in that too. Maybe check last years thread?
FWIW - My son is a freshman at U Tampa. He graduated H.S. and had a 3.3 gpa and 1240 Test scores and was not offered merit. It was however his 1st choice and he is thriving there however. His sister who’s stats are higher is also applying and I’m hoping for something!
Thank you
Hi all. My daughter is also waiting not so patiently for EA decisions to come out since Tampa is her #1 and she has heard from all other schools she has applied to. She applied at the end of August so it has been a long wait. If you complete their net price calculator on the website it will give you a general idea of merit and financial aid. Last year I know even though they said decisions wouldn’t be out until some time in February, they did start to release the decisions on January 31st. Hoping for the same thing this year.
Does this mean Tampa’s decisions are rolling? Im hoping to find out soon.
Fingers crossed decisions are coming out this week then! Last school we are waiting on!
u think this week?
Last year they did start releasing them from 1/31. I’m hoping they do the same this year. If they don’t then hopefully by mid February.
Do they give the merit with the acceptance letters?
