Same here. I want to see the cost prior to committing.
Insane. If thatās really the case I donāt think thereās any way I could commit to that. Gonna reach out to admissions myself
My oldest son was accepted for spring a few years ago. We heard about merit before May 1st.
The last response I received from UT admissions was to complete the SAI calculator and the FASFA which we did a while ago, and like many, we donāt qualify for āneed-basedā financial support.
Please let us know what response you get!
Have you heard anything about the merit being released earlier than May 1st?
Does anyone have a time frame of applicant submission to decision notification? Just curious how long it takes after applying to hear the decision. Thank you!
My daughter reached out to her counselor and he advised her she should have her financial aid package posted within the next couple of weeks. If she doesnāt hear by then he will connect her with the financial aid office.
If you applied regular decision, those notifications will be out by the end of March.
On the acceptance letter do they inform you of financial aid or do you have to go to the Spartan portal under financial aid. Trying to figure out if we actually received financial aid or not since nothing was mentioned about it in the acceptance letter. Thank you for any help you can offer.
Portal.
I have heard people are starting to get off the fall waitlist already. No such luck yet on our end, but my daughter knows of two people that were already notified.
Thanks - any update would be appreciated. We are also on the Fall waitlist.
Hi, I have a general question. What is the reputation of University of Tampa, in terms of the quality of education? Went on a tour recently and while the campus is beautiful, I am taken aback by the low graduation rate. Of course it could be to students transferring out etc, but it is a concern. Thanks.
My nephew said that most have his friends that went there left after the first year. Iām not sure why that is, but could contribute to the low 4 year graduation rate.
I suspect a lot of people go from far distances and quickly realize they are homesick and donāt come back for their second year. That definitely plays into the lower grad rate. I also suspect that there are kids that go there for the wrong reasons and end up not making it through.
Were these classmates? From the same school or something she saw on social media?
Do you know if the people that were taken off the waitlist applied for the same major or different ones? Just curious.
People from a group chat she has with Class of 2029 admits
I am not sure of their majors.
