Just a thought. Admission to nursing is extremely difficult. My son’t portal has the changes (admitted major, student id, etc.), but we actually are not expecting him to be admitted due to the extreme competitiveness of the direct admit nursing major…so maybe it is not a sign of being admitted?

100% a good sign - but I see why you’d want to wait for a letter. I am still in shock about the northeastern comment.
Would anyone happen to know… are deferred is decided on a rolling basis or is there another release date?
My son didn’t get an email or text. I only checked the portal because I saw it here. Last year they announced a date and time on social media, so I imagine they will do the same this year. I don’t think not having an update in your portal means you didn’t get admitted, as they may be in the process of updating them. Also, being deferred isn’t the worst thing, nor is being waitlisted. There are a lot of students applying to a lot of colleges, and you can only go to one! Good luck!

I think they will either send out an email this morning saying offical decisions tonight, or notify this evening that they are coming out tomorrow. Anything passed that goes into their holiday break which I don’t think will happen.

Decisions are today. A few people on reddit and facebook called to ask and that’s what they said. Also some people’s acceptance packets are already showing up at their homes.
