This happened to my daughter as well. Shows an āupdateā to SRAR after the deadline which my daughter believes was for Virginia Tech.

Of courseā¦ But this one particular one for VT somehow made it to UTK. I assure you nobody double subbed the SRAR to UTK.

Advertising/ PR major in communications college
31 ACT, 4.0 GPA
Pretty good ECs, but not major specific: equestrian, class officer, theatre, heavily involved in choir, job, math club
13,000 a year.
Cant believe how competitive this school has gotten, congrats to everyone who got in!

I just want to add thisā¦ I submitted/linked my SRAR to FAMU way after I linked with UTK. I was deferred. No change in admissions term. Iām not sure if this has anything to do āeditingā the SRAR though
I didnāt apply to Va Techā¦ Did anyone get "deferredā in general or is this their way of deferring?

Accepted. OOS. Into SC, Auburn and deferred at Clemson. 29 act.
Did you speak to someone who told you this was the reason? Interesting because in the beginning of December the 7th semester grade note appeared on my daughters portal so we went into the SRAR to see if it was even possible to update her 1st quarter grades. We checked with her highschool and a few days later we went into it again. We noticed it did highlight in red edit mode but never thought anything about it. We updated her 1st quarter grades and resubmitted it. It does show both dates when we logged into it but never was anything mentioned earlier that she was missing anything. It all showed received before the EA deadline.

daughter one accepted Haslam business with 8k and 13k per year
daughter 2 deferred need 7 semester grade applied to communication crying her heart out
wish both were deferred
only diff is act one is 27 and other 29
Did anyone with the SRAR glitch NOT apply to VT? It seems to be the common denominator.

The reason is because you submitted new SSARs after the deadline. You canāt do that, I think.

OOS was extremely tough. About 37,000 OOS applicants and not even 10,000 OOS acceptances. Doesnāt make me hopeful for RD.

UTK portal didnāt show the second submission date for SRAR until today. It always just showed the October date. Then all of sudden changed it to this today.
