The University Honors website say mid-December for Honors notification, and mid-January for Haslam Leadershiop Scholars.

My son has applied for aerospace engineering; we’re out of state. ACT 35, his UTK calculated GPA is 4.6. He has good clubs/sports/etc.
He is working on the honors applications right now - they’re due in two days. I’m a little confused about the different honors programs; the UTK website wasn’t too informative.
We’ve visited all three of those schools. UTK is the prettiest campus of the three, IMO. We enjoyed visiting.
Does every student already have their core UT gpa listed? Or are you all just hand calculating it?

Once you do the SRAR and it links to UTK, the UTK portal will list out what your calculated GPA is by them. Likely going to show a higher GPA than many other calculations since it only weighs in what they consider “core requirements”.
Ya, ours is still showing zero. There was an issue with the screen shot but we corrected that via email months ago. And before the issue we had a gpa there but now it shows * no value. Interesting.
Same here - ours doesn’t show a value. And we’ve confirmed that the SRAR Academic Record has been received (11/1).

UT core GPA calculated by them is 3.96. How does that stand in terms of chances of acceptance? Also, do they give everyone the opportunity to apply to the Volunteer Impact Academy and the Success Academy, or is that a good sign of chances of being admitted?

Everyone can apply for those opportunities listed on the application portal.

Curious why some applicants see their UT GPA while others whose SRAR is also linked, do not see the information. Anyone know why portal information is inconsistent between applicants?
I’m wondering if it has to do with where the application is in the review process.

Mid December as the application and website very clearly specify.

UT’s 15 DEC EA announcement ( anyone know the release time last year?) will be on the same day as UGA’s OOS notification 4PM ET…dang… I’m going to be busy keeping my DS24 off the ceiling…good luck ya’ll.
Last year EA decisions came out Tuesday, December 20.

Does anyone know if UTK will do direct admit into the business school when doing EA decisions? Or will it be pre-business with a review by the business school for direct acceptance following university acceptance?
