Admitted. OOS (Southern CA). Purple Gold Scholarship. Applied as Neuro but accepted to Pre Sciences. Will have to look into that.

To add, those are only for OOS students. UW has very few in state scolarships since it is pretty cheap (for college) on its own here.
Can someone explain to me what getting accepted as pre major mean??
S24 was waitlisted for economics. We are OOS with 3.83 GPA (uw) and 4.3 (weighted ) and 1540 SAT. I was hoping he would get in as its not CS or engineering

It means you need to apply for your major once you get to UW in somphmore or junior year. It’s generally pretty easy except for engineering and comp sci.
