UW’s portal always throws me in for a loop. They really had to have a box that says “view your application status” that redirects you to a page that starts off with “Thank you for applying to UW”.

Someone from my school got into UW this evening! They also got a scolarship! I believe they are in the very small scolarship group that someone mentioned earlier that is used to test the portal.

They got an email? Just checked the portal. Nothing new.
I don’t know if they got their email, he was just checking the portal. This is normal though. They tend to release maybe 100 in-state decisions the week before just to make sure everything is working portal wise. 99.99% will be admitted during one big wave likely next week.

You can refer to earlier posts, but looks like the UW email indicating that decisions would go out during the week of 3/11 was sent on 2/23 or so.
I don’t believe there’s any truth to the rumor that more times you refresh your portal, the better your chances but who knows?

Admissions sent an email about 12 days ago saying that they expect most decisions to be released the week of March 11-15.

Someone posted on Reddit some time ago that they were notified today of admission to UW and honors college, and award of a Presidential scholarship. This person stated that results will be out on the 15th.
Right on schedule per prior years, and as discussed.
A handful of Presidential scholarships (& perhaps a few misc. others) out first, with the other 60,000+ decisions expected next week (on/before 3/15). I’d still guess it’s a day or two before 3/15 though, but we shall see soon.

UW generally releases decisions between 8 and 9pm right? There were rumblings at my school that it might be today.
That was a great video! It was very comprehensive, thanks for sharing. Does anyone know if they have one like that for UC Schools? It always seems to be such a mystery with them.

When will the decisions be released exactly ??
No idea. Last year it came out today at 8:30ish, but the email this year did say it would be next week for most students. I think there is a small chance of tonight but probably Thursday or Friday of next week.
