OOS. Accepted undeclared engineering. P&G scholly for $3k. By far the least merit award of acceptances thus far. Interesting.

Yeah the range for the scholarship is only 2k-10k but I haven’t seen anything higher than around 5k yet

In similar spot here. D26 accepted to pre-social science. In CA, no merit $. Expensive for OOS. In at the UC’s released so far, but waiting on the rest. Also considering Oxy, who’s offering generous merit scholarship. My daughter is very happy to get UW admit! Really a great school and campus!

Cool. He just saw it and was accepted. Not sure of merit money yet, but not likely to attend anyway. However, his older brother is there for Environmental Engineering and loves it!

where do you see if the student received $?
Hi, js asking for a friend. Do uk if u get off the waitlist for CS u get directly admitted to CS or if u only get admitted to the clg (eg. presciences major)? like what does the letter say? Cuz if u get directly admitted to CS wouldnt WL be better than getting in lol
Any insights on whether they have a Offer Letter in PDF, like many other colleges do? All I see is a purple banner followed by some information on a webpage.
Somewhere in the portal, I read that if you are waitlisted, you’re unlikely to be admitted to any direct admit programs

I would suggest looking through last year’s thread(s) to see if anyone reported being admitted to CS after being waitlisted. I seem to remember seeing it happen before, but I might be mistaken or I might have been thinking of an earlier year.
Edited to add: I’m also not sure about waitlisted engineering applicants being admitted to engineering, etc. If someone looks at the old threads they might report on that as well!
