OMG, they are coming out now?? I’m from Washington and appealed 2 weeks ago…still have not gotten notice 
I hope waitlist’s come out before May 1st, I really don’t want to commit anywhere else
ALSO – how are people receiving their removal from the waitlist? Email? Mail? Portal update?
Did you all submit a LOCI after you got waitlisted ?
I know it is a bit hard for me to directly get into their CS department but applied CS as my first major because It is impossible to get in afterward. How do I know if I am waitlisted as a CS major or other majors?
@Pokamolodoy Do they take LOCIs? Where/How do we submit them?
@Pokamolodoy I assume you’ve been waitlisted for your first choice major unless the waitlist letter mentions otherwise
Well, I didn’t submit one so I am wondering if those who got admitted later turned in their LOCIs.
I got an email from UW saying my status was updated and when I checked my portal again it said I had been accepted.

Yes. I’ve heard the oos and instate waitlist pools are different (don’t quote me on that)
What’s that? I remember only filling out that form in order to get onto the waitlist.
@rejectedddd sorry I just googled what it was now and no, I did not submit a LOCI. My stats are pretty average but my first semester senior grades were better than usual which is probably what gave me a boost. Let me know if you have more questions and I’ll try my best to answer them 
What type of classes are you enrolled in, and what was your GPA/SAT?

Senior Stats: I am currently in AP Bio. I also had two honors classes (both social studies) and three dual enrollment classes (social studies, language, and an elective). I am also taking regular calc and regular English. My GPA for this semester was a 4.43.
My cumulative: GPA is 3.96 (my first semester freshman GPA wasn’t great but I showed an upward trend after)
ACT: 30
I would consider myself an average student based off of my stats
@rejectedddd I am pre-science since I plan on majoring in Biology. I don’t mind the questions. Best of luck to you and don’t stress too much about this, I’m pretty sure they only started taking people off the waitlist yesterday and will continue to do so.
Daughter just accepted off waitlist yesterday afternoon (3/26). Out of State - California. She received an email to check updated status.
Major - Sociology
GPA 3.87

Out of state waitlist pool has a separate list than in state. I’ve seen this mentioned here before by UW admissions rep. (Not sure if that’s her title exactly)
Look up UWadmissionstaff (comments) and you’ll find where they mention the separate waitlists.
