I see a few folks mentioning their majors who seem to be thinking they are waitlisted for the major they applied to. You need to understand if your major is considered an open major or a capacity-constrained major. If you applied to a capacity-constrained major and were waitlisted, you were denied Freshman Direct Admission. This means you will have to follow the Standard admission process and apply once you meet the prerequisites (generally after your sophomore year). From UW admissions: Students admitted off the waitlist are not eligible for direct to major admission (i.e. business, computer science) or direct to college (engineering) admission.
