Deferred, oos, business, 4.4 GPA, 10 APS, 1 Dual Enrollment, 35 ACT, Presidential Service Award, great EC.

Accepted, OOS CoE, 4.0 UW, 1560 SAT. Took most of the AP classes offered at their school (~ 7), 4 DE math classes beyond Calc B/C, 3-sport varsity athlete and captain of 2, several engineering & tech-related ECs and an internship.

Good luck to all - we were on the other side of this 2 years ago when our son was deferred and then waitlisted.

My son did! Congrats!!

How long afterward the decision date do you know?

DC admitted last night. OOS, Letters & Sciences (psych), 4.0 UW, 11 APs, forgot to send official SAT score so probably not considered, good ECs (athlete (national competitor), summer employment, volunteer work, shadowing, academic honor societies), very strong UW essay

Just signed up for an admitted student day. Had to hunt around for it. Visit Bucky | Office of Admissions and Recruitment - University of Wisconsin-Madison

I found the link for the Badger Days / Admitted Students Visits:

Yes, that is what we see. Does anyone know should we submit an LOCI

There will be an email with details on how to report your senior year grades and any additional info.
You will have to wait until the instructions for submitting LOCI (not sure if this is what Wisconsin-Madison calls it) arrives.
No immediate action is required.

Can you expand your question a bit? Not sure I follow.

Daughter accepted - OOS - A&S - Full Merit Scholarship - EC: 2X Club Presidents - 6 years Foreign Language Study - Varsity Sport - Board Member - Competitive Language Immersion Programs (Scholarships) - Farm Work - Clothes Drive - Build and Race Cars - Etc. Very Good Essays.

She got a full merit scholarship? Was it attached to her acceptance letter? I’ve heard UW is stingy with aid so I am trying not to bank on it, but thought it was coming out in the future via email.

Attached to her acceptance letter.

Very cool. Off to the UMich form now to enter in my son’s postponed/deferred info.

Just out of curiosity, and feel free to say none of your business, did she demonstrate significant financial need when she applied or on her FAFSA?

Does Wisconsin yield protect?
