No, I believe they send out emails when your financial aid is ready in CASH.
The UT financial aid twitter said they’ll be out very soon a couple of days ago, so I’m thinking this upcoming Monday maybe…? Is when they’ll start giving them out…?
My daughter will likely decide on a college long before we ever even receive the FA package from UTexas. It has been seven weeks since admission, and there is only so many times that you can log-on and see the same message to check back in two weeks. Six other schools she has been admitted to have all managed to handle the FA process quickly and efficiently… including even one other state school, FSU. I had a feeling that this would be the case though based on how they handled admissions vs the 14 other schools that my daughter applied to this cycle. And, honestly, it would be hard to imagine their FA offer even being on par with the others already in-hand, as my daughter is OOS. There is clearly a huge difference between public and private universities on a # of fronts. But I had expected a great deal more from UTexas based on many positive comments heard previously. Apparently those commentators were either mistaken or such comments were generated in a vacuum of sorts - without many other schools to compare UTexas to… as the many other comparisons we have from 2014 and 2017 do not seem to indicate such. UTexas stands alone as clearly the slowest & least efficient. We still really like Austin though. Oh well…
And wow… they just posted their FA package finally. $0 aid, only loans… making them the worst in terms of FA out of 7. Emory was by far the most generous. My daughter will now likely attend USC. For future applicants… the differential between OOS to UTexas and to USC… UTexas expects my daughter to pay 399% more. Nuts! Good luck to all those still waiting for their UTexas FA. Here’s hoping that yours is better… or at least something.
They may be the slowest (by far) but I wouldn’t say they’re the least efficient. After speaking to a rep, I learned that they take so long with admissions and especially financial aid because they do their best to distribute the money to the people they know will be attending and so that they can be careful about it. If waiting means they can give the students actually attending a higher chance of receiving financial aid, I’m 100% willing to wait.
I do understand the whole decision aspect to the FA packages, though, and it sucks 
that much I can definitely agree on is unfair.

Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone has received the ULN scholarship?
Received financial aid and I did receive some scholarship money…does anyone know if there will be separately awarded university scholarships or are these all I will recieve total? I’m only asking because on the website, financial aid scholarships and university scholarships were in separate categories. 
Just got “financial aid”… UT is officially off the list. Anyone else feel the same?
same thing here. loans only. Given we are OOS, not planning to attend given all the other less costly options.
I accepted UT weeks ago and still haven’t gotten a housing contract… filled out the application back in october. Who should I call to get this figured out?

Deadline is May 1. However, folks are already signing up for orientation and you can’t do that until you’ve paid the enrollment deposit.

@Hank30nyr You just have to wait for a few more days. It only took me a day or two to be accepted but I was also accepted before the big wave back in Feb. They’re probably still sorting through a lot of kids
