Oh no… now it changed on MyStatus. I’m done. There’s no way is a clerical error. It changed on both RIS and MyStatus. Columbia, Duke, Harvard, and Northwestern are my only hope and I don’t even know if I can get into any of those… time to apply to Colorado School of Mines …
What changed?
My first choice major on MyStatus. It used to say Mechanical Engineering. Now, it says:
College of Liberal Arts Undeclared
Electrical Engineering
What is your second choice major?
So all of you seeing liberal arts undeclared are you seeing “you have been admitted “ or congrats anywhere ? Just curious if it is part off the process
I was automatically admitted back in September, and I waited this long just to see Mechanical Engineering change to College of Liberal Arts Undeclared. It still says that my application is still being considered for admission to my requested major.
My daughter has had the same thing happen. AA, changed from Chemical Engineering to Liberal Arts Undeclared.
Did you include them on your Resume?
My daughter’s first choice major changed to Liberal Arts on MyStatus as well. I am hoping with all of the people I am seeing on this forum having same issue, that it is just an error.
My daughter checked her portal and she mentioned her first choice major (CS) was removed and it also has the “liberal arts” designation along with her second choice major listed. She is in state auto-admit.
So …does this means for certain that it if your first choice major isn’t listed then you are no longer being considered for that major? I saw on the reddit thread , that some are speculating that it could be a decision has been made on your first choice major …which could be a rejection or acceptance???
wb OOS people? any changes in yalls RIS?
They shouldn’t be changing our choices.
what’s ris?
registration info sheet, its on ut-direct
has UT ever sent out decisions on Saturdays?
Same with mine! I hope you are correct about this being an error. with you.
i think oos doesnt have this major issue rn
As I understand it, OOS gets accepted into their major or they don’t get accepted. It’s just the in-state auto-admits that have this issue.
anyone know how competitive Government major is at UT?
Also, my daughter told me that in her MyStatus, the To Do (Required) now only has “1 Thing” : “Accept or Decline Admission”. Earlier she had a second thing “Satisfy your Enrollment Deposit” has anyone else observed this?
