Pretty sure this only applies to Auto Admits who are guaranteed admission to UT.
OOS. Nothing. In CT.
OOS, nothing either
OOS CA, nothing either…
any non-auto decisions??? respond to this if so please
Oos nothing
Well official time to move on! Texas A&M bound!!!
My son’s second choice major is still showing but first choice major is “Liberal Arts”. Does it mean they are still considering second choice major?
FINAL UPDATE. We regret that we are unable to offer you admission to the first-choice and second-choice majors you selected on your application for admission. Some majors at the university are highly competitive, and some of our best applicants are admitted to a different major simply because their requested majors don’t have enough space for all the students who applied.
OOS New Jersey nothing
Sorry to hear that. It’s a brutal year for everyone. So your child got admitted to liberal arts instead?
By the way things are looking on here and on Reddit, non-autos and oos should have a wave of their own later today or later in the week.
Yes and he performs poorest in the Liberal Arts
Here too.
You can rest assured that your son will have better options and do well somewhere.
I am so sorry. This is not right. I am sure your daughter has other good choices. Good luck to her!
Same my classmate rank #6 in class of 398 has all As except AP Psychology, and UT moved to him COLA, not even CNS. I think this happens every year without any explanation. But for a college touting $30B endowment and second richest in the country, UT should expand engineering to at least the size of COLA to avoid this ridiculous situation.
Thanks, and he will. He just worked so hard to accumulate college credits and was hoping he would finish the engineering in less time. At other places, he will have to start from zero.
what is COLA? Oh sorry now I get it. I am wondering how many students they can admit in COLA
College of Liberal Arts
