My daughter has also had access to RIS, populated with major, and CASH since mid Jan. Still in review, priority, non auto. Did you take an on ramps class, or any other UT dual class, in high school?

I think that the RIS access is only a good sign when it says bad data and then changes about 30 minutes before acceptance to become populated with major and other details specific to the student and major. Unfortunately, I think we figured out that students that have had access to RIS/CASH for a long period of time may just have access because they have been affiliated with UT in the past (dual credit, onramps, etc.). There are plenty of people that have had access to those for a while and haven’t yet heard anything. But it’s a very good sign when a student’s RIS changes suddenly from bad data to the things I mentioned. Good luck to everyone. This si s stressful and frustrating.
Yes I took Onramps, but what I don’t understand is why it doesn’t have our UT credit hours we’ve earned on there. It’s say “UT credit 0.00, even though I have 6 hours of credit from them. When I finished my Onramps course, I had a 3.2 UT GPA, and that is not on there either it’s says GPA 0.00. So idk, that’s the only reason why I still think it’s a good sign.
Has anyone heard back from OOS that applied to McCombs business school regular decision? Just wondering if anyone heard back to gauge when we might hear back.
We have not but I’ve seen quite a few oos McCombs acceptances

I applied priority to McCombs and have heard
nothing. I have to hear something by tomorrow, correct?
I would believe so. But someone above reported that one of their sons applied for a priority decision last year and heard back on February 4th.
Priority to McCombs, RD to CBHP after receiving an email saying i shd apply. not heard back so far.
I don’t know if this language has been like this all along in the UT website, but I found this interesting - basically, they don’t have to let the priority applicants know Jack by tomorrow. Just the terms “generally” and “may be deferred” doesn’t give me much optimism:
Generally, you will receive a decision no later than:
Summer/Fall (Freshmen):
PRIORITY
February 1
For students who meet the November 1 priority application deadline; some decisions may be deferred to the regular decision date.

yes this!!! rolling admissions also insinuates that there is no deadline. for example ASU does rolling admissions, u can submit ur application whenever u want and u hear back usually within a month. UT’s system is rolling decisions which is entirely different.
my main gripe with it is that students who applied priority still don’t have decisions whereas students who applied rd have acceptances already. if i applied by an earlier deadline than u, i should get a decision (whether it be acceptance or rejection) earlier than u. that is simply my issue.
some of my friends who applied by the priority deadline heard back in december. that’s a part of the process, i understand. but i wasn’t expecting people who applied a whole month after me to get acceptances when i haven’t even received a formal rejection. that’s just rude in my opinion.

My OOS son is still waiting to hear from UT (McCombs). Have most students heard by now?
Does anyone know if we get decisions at midnight or the history of that
decisions have typically been released at 5pm or 6pm cst
My son was accepted as an Arts and Entertainment Technologies major. Plan II still in review. Good luck everyone!

I know but I’ve also heard that on the night on January 31 or the earliest time on feb 1st (12 am cst) there as been decisions released in the past

Did anyone hear back from Plan II on Friday night that applied priority? My daughter was accepted on Friday but her Plan II is still in review (I assume up until tomorrow night.)
