Is anyone waiting on neuroscience?
Imagine UT Austin posted Sorry you are rejected and then 5 mins later they be like just jk lol, you’re in.
I have an older daughter that attends an Ivy. The Ivy League schools set a specific date and time for notifications for both ED and for RD so it is not a guessing game.
That’s why UT is put in another league
who did you call?
I think COFA has released a very few decisions in Design and Art so far, but not many! Keep hoping!
Are there any more McCombs acceptances coming in today?
I don’t think anyone knows what specific schools are going to release anything today. The only thing that we know is that today would be the day of those kids who applied by the priority deadline would know something.
Just called the Admissions Office and they confirmed the school of undergraduate studies will be released today for sure.
Only for priority or for all, including RD?
I wonder if that means anytime throughout the day on a rolling basis or all at once at 11:59pm? This school sure seems cavalier and chaotic. Does anyone know how it is once you are actually there? Are the admin and staff all impersonal with poor communication?
I applied for math and mine has said mathematics entry level since I applied. I think it just says it since you are applying as a freshman
RD should hear by March 1. Priority today
Except that a ton of Regular applicants have already heard already. So much for prioritization of applications.
All priority applicants for sure but there may be some regular decisions mixed in as they were on Friday for a few majors
She said it may be after 5pm cst. Im assuming anytime between 3-6 cst.
i applied RD and got a decision on Friday for some reason
@artmom2025 - For a college of ~1,500 within UT, I’d expect a more targeted and focused outreach or set of subsequent communications after they received an application (or even an indication of interest, like all these virtual sessions and events they held). They have the metrics and technology to track and execute this… Honestly, it’s just a constructive critique, still very excited for the prospect of her being a Longhorn.
Heck, from the minute my daughter first signed up for her first virtual info session at Michigan, they were over her like white on rice. She got at least an email every 3 weeks about the process, asking her if she needed help, they even offer to preview and provide feedback on your portfolio BEFORE you officially submit it.
Just saying…
How likely is there to be acceptances released today? I’m a high sat/act/good EC non-auto instate applicant who is waiting for a decision from CNS (neuroscience)
Has anyone heard back RD for international relations or gov?
