Have any oos students heard back for nursing?
Or in state nursing?
I followed an Instagram account for accepted UT students in the class of 2025 and they have been posting about some people who have been accepted to nursing. I’m not sure if its instate or out of state though.
Talk about legacy, my dad a Longhorn class of 1995, taught UTD and recently UT Austin, he wants me to be a Longhorn and I work my butt off to get to UT but he just bailed to teach in A&M next year.
My twin cousins class of 2020, one went to UT the other capped and went to A&M in 2016.
This year they both graduated and the A&M one went to UT for graduate school, the UT one went to A&M for graduate school they actually just switched apartments.
I truly don’t believe UT considers legacy status in the admissions process. We’ve known many children of alums who were capped or rejected in recent years.
Has anyone who has been admitted to UT, out of state, received financial aid information?
@praha23 I don’t see how they could due to numbers, although I think there should be brownie points for applicants who wouldn’t exist if their parents hadn’t met at UT
This is my first time posting, but I have been using this board as a resource all fall! I wanted to let you know that my daughter received her acceptance yesterday! We were shocked, as due to all my “research” I did not think there would be any acceptances over the break. Her stats are as follows:
In state
Non-auto admit
Rank - 6.52%
Test scores - did not submit
Moody School of Communications
Applied on September 15
I hope this is helpful and everyone hears good news soon!
@Aahoa Congrats on your daughter’s admit. What is your daughter’s major at Moody?
