This could be indicative. The CASH link is only for the current and admitted students. We haven’t seen such an email yet 
Thanks so much. My email was different, basically saying they’ll ask if they need more info and that admitted students can access CASH.

I didn’t realize this till now but the email came in 4:38 pm PST, which is 6:38 UT time. Assuming that we get acceptance at 5pm Texas time, this email came after, not before my acceptance.
Thanks for the clarification. It might have arrived earlier than the admission notice though. I heard that only came the second day.
The key words are “We look forward to seeing you at The University of Texas at Austin.” 
This is the email I received yesterday as well.

One thing I noticed is that the header said “UT Austin Student Notification”. Some of the other Fafsa emails from them have been very generic vs this one being directly addressed to her. So hopefully some good news coming. Thank you for sharing

I just want to quickly say that I also got the same email yesterday with the same subject “UT Austin Student Notification” but I also got the same one when I first submitted my FAFSA back in October. I don’t think this is an indicator of anything, but hopefully we do get decisions today!

Yep noticed that too from a previous Fafsa submission. But hopefully the student notification header is a good sign. Good luck!
Unfortunately, the header does not mean anything. My son got it twice. The key is to have a sentence like that in @HL2020’s post:
We look forward to seeing you at The University of Texas at Austin.

Not at all. We are all on the same boat. The email only tells the reception of FAFSA, nothing more than that.
