So we toured Purdue mid February last year so I could show her the worst weather… and we ended up with weather in 30s to 50s lol. You never know. It’s a really special school … can’t go wrong with these options ! Good luck with your decisions!
Is there a possibility of decisions being released throughout this week?
Out of state is many times willing to extend nice packages to bring students in from other places
I’m thinking they’re going to stick to Thursday/Friday
No matter how lucrative the package is, unfortunately, it’s still very costly.
Can anyone give me their honest opinion of my chances of getting into the engineering honors program? I’ve already been admitted to cockrell for meche.

I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t get it. Amazing stats.
Is calling the UT Admission office helpful? Do they give more information on your application status, or they only direct you to check “My Status?”
I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in, but no one can really tell you except admissions. Sometimes people who seem “shoe-ins” don’t get in and others who don’t “seem” like they will get in, do get in, so it’s unpredictable. Good luck. You are an excellent candidate and whether you get in or not, you can achieve all your goals honors program or not.
I don’t think calling admissions does anything. They won’t tell you anything extra, so I don’t think it is worth it.
About the admissions calling, I called and emailed them a couple of times about things regarding my application and other stuff. The final time I called them, the person I spoke to talked about something in my previous phone calls and emails. They keep a track of each interaction and probably writes up a quick summary of it, so please don’t spam call often or annoy them, it won’t look that great (there probably won’t be any real consequences but annoying AO’s who look at files is not a great idea)
My daughter has had a great experience working out her AO. She got on a zoom call w/her, has kept a convo going about the different initiatives she was working on and generally seemed very pleasant and encouraging. Hopefully it will pay off for her this week. Fingers crossed.
I think u have an. excellent chance…relax!
what can make UT to take back the admission offer if any(have yet to receive the paper admission package with fine prints), like failing a class which impacts graduation or GPA ranking falling out of top 6% or something? I know some universities made their admission contingent on similar performance in the senior year for example, if not they can rescind the offer at any time.
Top 6% is locked at junior year. Of course, if you don’t graduate HS, you can’t go to university.

What does the standard FAFSA email from UT say? Like when they receive your FAFSA Application.
We are still waiting on decision. Not auto admit. So what are the chances of non auto admit to get in UT? And anyone sailing in same boat awaiting decision? When can we expect something?
Are you priority?
My daughter is in the same boat. Non-auto admit, no scores. If accepted, most will hear this Friday, 1/22. If we don’t hear on Friday, I’ll assume my daughter didn’t get in and will hope she gets PACE’d or CAP’d the following Friday, 1/29. If neither of those, rejections are announced that same day, 1/29. She applied priority so we’ll hear end of month unless UT sends out a notification otherwise.
