UT Austin Class of 2028 Official Thread

My auto daughter didnt’ get comp sci., got liberal arts. :frowning: confused if also didn’t get plan 2.

sorry that sucks!

Denied, McCombs OOS

CAP here too

Does anyone know someone who got capped for engineering or CS who has gotten into those majors after CAP

It’s ok. It’s like under 5% for out of state McCombs. I have many other great options, so i’m not that sad about this one.

CAPPED. In state. Boo - Well that was fun…my son is taking his Auburn Presidential
scholarship and running with it. Good luck everyone!

CAP seems to be a theme

CAP only guarantees you a transfer to College of Liberal Arts. If you’re looking to major in Engineering/Comp Sci…go elsewhere.

Sorry . I would not . There is virtually no path to engineering or CS this way . Go to a school that gives you your major and if you still want UT , try to transfer in after freshman year ( knowing it will be a long shot ) .
