My D applied undeclared natural science, hope it is fine to apply undeclared in UTA rt?
@bros20000 i do not know how that works- did she take a GAP year after being accepted? did shet take a GAP year before application? i Usually a GAP year does not consist of doing any classes. Sorry I cant help. Is she going to have 30 hours? i( including Dual and AP fro high school) if so, she will be a transfer student not a new freshman. To transfer into MccCombs you need the calc’s and the econs I think.
@bros20000 Plan II is very selective. BHP is also very selective. They are probably equal in acceptance selectivity except i think BHP is both insanely holistic AND numbers based- you don’t see anyone who was not crazy high on the stats chart getting it. Plan II also cares about stats but they will tell you that it is 1/5 of their criteria. It is truly holistic like a liberal arts college. I don’t think one is tougher than the other to get in but they are different in their approach.
@screensbright does that count for the people who received the feb 27 notification?
@tb2000 she will take a gap year before being accepted. She will take no acc classes so she will still be considered a freshman. If she dropped calculus during senior year, will that look bad for admission to McCombs?
Any decisions being released today?

It says that McCombs average is 1320 for bba but I have yet to see anyone with those type of scores get in. All I see is people with 1400+ and 1500+ getting in?
@bros20000 My D has a friend - auto admit, 1320, priority. Found out 2 weeks ago he was admitted to McCombs.
@ollie113 maybe great ECs?
I think he just put a lot of thought into the essays/questions/resume. ECs were average for his class rank. He knew he was borderline and needed to show he really wanted to go to McCombs.
@ollie113 wow, that’s actually the first person i’ve heard to get into with a score in the 1300’s
@woodace Your stats please
