I called and spoke with someone in admissions on Wednesday. I was told that only some applicants receive CAP offers and there are LOTS (her word) of flat denials.

Congrats to your D18, @Twoin18 ! You are correct OOS tuition waivers are very rare. I once read the Engineering school had 7 at any one time, so not 7 for incoming freshmen, but 7 across the entire school at any one time. This is hearsay, but definitely rare. Hook’em!

@sollyyy No. Most of the international students didn’t get their decisions yet.This doesnt mean that all will be denials

Is there anyone doing the CAP offer? is there a different thread for that? DD isnt keen on it, but I am wondering if it would be a missed chance in something?
