Hello to you all. I hope everyone here is doing great and hopefully you’ll receive the news on being accepted into UT Austin. I currently attend UT Austin and this is my first and unfortunately will be my last semester here. I’ve currently signed a lease at the Rio West apartments located in West Campus off 2704 Rio Grande St, Austin Texas, 78705. The room you would be staying is a 4 bed 4 bath apartment and you will be roommate matched with other people. Monthly rent is $699 and that includes cable and internet. You will have to pay for electricity and water. There is no hidden fees associated with picking up the lease except for paying the security deposit which is $100 and do have the option to pay that at any time. This question is regarding OOS vs In state tuition: my son is a NY resident and completing HS in Brooklyn. His dad and I are divorced and he is a resident of Texas. Does anyone know if my son would qualify for in state tuition in Texas? Thanks

I just got admitted (RD)! So happy about it!
I really didn’t know that I was going to get in cause my gpa was crap and my SAT score was not really good. I applied as Business major but ended up getting accepted to Economics major. Still, I’m just very pleased that I got into UT.
